Designer and painter JoAnn O'Hara has been involved in the visual arts for more than 30 years. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising, she moved to New York City and worked for a variety of designers, including Marc Jacobs.  Over time, JoAnn pursued her painting vocation at night at Silvermine Art School under David Dunlop and at Greenwich Art Society under Enzo Russo, a pupil of Georgio de Chirico.

JoAnn also has developed and currently teaches an art curriculum for children, "Paint-A-Masterpiece". 

JoAnn's work can be found throughout the United States in offices and private homes.

JoAnn has been teaching art classes in Greenwich, CT to adults and children ages 6 and older at the Art Lab for the last ten years. O'Hara says she enjoys teaching art classes for all ages, and sharing her passion for painting. She says she finds it satisfying to watch children and adults become engrossed with the process of painting and to feel that therapeutic peace that comes with painting. She currently teaches art classes in Greenwich CT at the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center,where sign-ups are ongoing.
